Windows XP drivers and a Bluetooth dongle?
Ive been given a Bluetooth dongle (no name on it or the driver) I hooked up the USB port and Windows so automatically find a driver for it and said a full install, but i cannot find the controls at the windows of the dongle shows in Device Manager, but I have no Bluetooth icon in the Control Panel
Typically these devices come with drivers or software. If you have not installed software and WinXP installed as normal USB device. is best to install the driver or software company, since in the future, you might get errors like "USB device not recognized." rendering it difficult to run.
