Okay, this pair of wireless headphones will make you never want to hear the cable. It completely eliminates the hassle of untying of these knots difficult each time you use your headphones. These babys are equipped with the Protocol: Bluetooth ® 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR). This means that if not a techy person, this pair of headphones that have the latest version of Bluetooth for listening to long distance and enhanced data rates that will improve and maintain the quality of sound you want. Another useful aspect is that the Bluetooth dongle come with an adapter to fit ALL of Apple iPods. Although they are obviously for gaged iPods, which can be used with anything with a headphone jack. I have this pair of headphones and have been met and exceeded all my expectations. The sound quality is excellent, is set so fine, and controls that never confused me a bit. This is the headset I've been waiting all this time. I am very demanding … so much so that I could consider myself an audiophile. When I look for headphones, I'm usually looking for the best sound in the headphones and not the head, because for some reason get out and drive me crazy … not to mention big and bulky. The share of headphones is enough to push the edge is the cable, because some companies use heavy wire, others do not use enough wire, some are way too tangled facility, and the list goes on. I always loved the idea of wireless headphones, but like all new technologies … everything that begins as a "work in progress "with constant improvements. Well, here's the final result. The FreePulse is everything I wanted in a headset. It's lightweight, behind the head, and without cables. I am quite surprised by the quality of sound. No, not the best sounding headphones of all time, but certainly if you listen to these is priced in your top 5 because they VERY VERY good sound. I did notice something on the FreePulse … follows the old adage "out of it what you put into it." If you use the song files 128 kbps, you hear how bad actually the sound files. We all know 320kbps is the best and certainly when you Play 320 sound amazing on the FreePulse. I guess you get so cheap that the use of loudspeakers portable metal and other waste products to 128kbps and 320kbps not tend to sound very different. I am really impressed with this product, and the wireless function of these phones are worth every penny. I was skeptical as to how it would work at a distance, as it says it is running Bluetooth 2.0 and can work 30 feet away. Well now that I've tried it myself … I think their advertising. I walked 30 feet away around 3 walls and they were still working as if nothing is interfering. That is a reality wireless headphones must operate. I use to have about 100 POS RCA headphones could not work 5 feet away 30 feet for me was a bit over the top. I'm telling you, these headphones are really something, and I'm not using that enthusiasm for a product. If you have a Dell's local store or kiosk … check it out … I heard there. That's how I learned of this product. I gave up actually learning about these headphones because earlier versions were false … the quality was not good … but these are definitely. Great job Logitech … as always … you come across another product truly remarkable. Between this, my first ever wireless optical mouse produced by Logitech, and my joystick Wi-Fi … I've never had much experience with any another company like Logitech. Kudos!

works well in a good distance (even in other rooms)
Battery lasts a long time for a wireless headset, not the iPod power drain
adapter can be connected simultaneously with the Nike + dongle
CONS:
a "one size fits all" some design, very little adjustment possible, limiting the comfort
Instructions of the poor, the buttons of confusion
ineffectual "bass boost"
without control of iPod from the headset (I realize that is not promised, but it would be good)
