Why does not detect Bluetooth devices?

I have an Acer Aspire 6920 with Windows Vista installed, and I bought a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and have been trying to connect unsuccessfully. I searched online help, but everything is mostly along the lines of "Make Bluetooth is activated. "or" Make sure the device is on. "The mouse is turned on and ready to be found. My Bluetooth is activated on my computer laptop. I tired to update the drivers, but device manager says they are up to date. Bluetooth Device Manager simply does not detect the mouse. worst part is that originally it did detect the mouse, but the drivers are not installed. After following the instructions from Microsoft, it failed to detect the device all. After you undo the changes, still refuses to detect any Bluetooth device.

You may need to reinstall the drivers, just go to www.acer.com and drivers and technical support will guide you through a series of options and simply download and reinstall the Bluetooth drivers.
