Bluetooth mobile phone?

so my dad asked me to try to find a good Bluetooth for cell phone, but do not know much about the compatibility with these things, make any bluetooth work? so I'm lookin for suggestions on a decent affordable Bluetooth connection Motorola V9 one. That one will work. All bluetooths are more or less the same, but the best on the market today with the sound Jawbone is clearer. It's expensive, though.
