How I can connect a generic USB Bluetooth dongle and headset for yahoo messenger?

I have windows xp service pk 3. The Motorola H15 headset USB dongle. H15 pairs with bluetooth USB and widows indicates that functions properly, but I can not get it to work. Do I need any software. any suggestions?
