Why is my Internet connection is disconnected when installing Belkin Bluetooth USB adapter?
I bought Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter and then install it, my internet, Local Area Connection does not work. Uninstall Belkin Bluetooth but my internet does not work. After spending 7 hours straight, he was finally able to connect to the Internet through Verizon DSL uninstalling and installing again. In DSL first reinstall did not work, but for some miraculous reason it worked 6th after my 5th or try to install it. So my question is: what is the problem. One thing I'm not going to reinstall Belkin Bluetooth on my computer. I was lucky the last time. Do you think getting another USB Bluetooth adapter has no problem with my internet connection? Supposedly, Belkin Bluetooth was the best and costs $ 39.99. All I want to do is transfer music, a couple of ringtones from my PC to my cell phone. What do you think I should do? Thanks
This is a very curious situation. I have not heard of installing a Bluetooth adapter to cause problems with the LAN or Internet connection. I've used in more than a computer and had not an ounce of trouble. It should not matter that the mark is used at all. Does your DSL modem also connected to USB? I wonder if the matrix USB ran low on tension and caused problems in that case. But you mentioned the local area connection, so that leads me to believe that somehow your Ethernet port was eliminated when the USB device is installed. Is there anything else on your computer plug into USB ports? It could be a problem with the voltage and the motherboard, as it relates to power devices through built-in USB connections. One solution to this would be to buy an external USB hub for connection of things like Bluetooth. In this way the data connection is all used, but the power of ports comes from an external adapter instead of power supply your computer. Some machines are finicky about the staying power connected to your Ethernet connection to work. Is it possible that the power of the laptop broke while working on the installation of Bluetooth, Ethernet and off until the power was connected again in our laptops from Dell are sarcastic that way. If you unplug from the wall, set your Ethernet should be off, too, so shut down the port until AC power restored. You have some one in the Quickset utility. In any case – should be able to use the Bluetooth adapter you want. But if you are worried about the motherboard, you can always try a * External Powered USB hub. They are about $ 20. Good luck!
